UOG Fine Arts students open exhibition of over 100 works

A reception for "Elements: A Student Exhibition" will be held tonight at Dean Circle #15 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Guam - The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam is proud to announce the opening of the exhibition Elements: A Student Exhibition featuring more than 100 works created by graduating Fine Arts students and selected UOG undergraduate students. 

An opening reception will be on Thursday, May 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The event will be held at the Isla Center for the Arts located at #15 Dean’s Circle, on the University of Guam Campus. Elements: A Student Exhibition is open to the public, and admission is free.

Works of art created by graduating Fine Arts majors such as Mariah Edquilane, Benedict Mutuc, Georgiana Quintanilla, Lucille Ronquillo, Katlyn Sutherland, Kaysha Tyquiengco, and Josephine Viera are featured in this display. Pieces produced by more than 25 undergraduate students are also included in the exhibition, which features paintings, ceramics, prints, photographs, and sculptures.

The exhibition will be on display from May 4 to June 23, 2017 at the Isla Center for the Arts located at #15 Dean’s Circle, on the University of Guam Campus.
