Guam (April 19, 2014) The Agat Cardinals beat the Yona Redhawks, 14-7, in Budweiser Amateur Baseball League (BABL) action at the Leo Palace Baseball Stadium in Manengon. Vince Villasoto got the win, while Jimmy Manila took the loss. Agat's Austin Sablan took the honors of Strike Zone Player of the Game, going, 3-3, three RBI, and a run scored. Nick Sablan was 3-4, 2RBI, and two runs scored. Nathan Sablan was 3-3, and three runs scored. For the Redhawks, Gavin Dirige went 2-3, a double, an RBI, and a run scored. Darren Pablo was 1-3, an RBI, and two runs scored. Roman Aguero was 1-4, with an RBI.
The Cardinals had 14 runs, on 19 hits, and committed just one error. The Redhawks had 7 runs, on 7 hits, and committed three errors.
In the nightcap, the Rays took care of the Agana Heights Blues with the 9-2 win in seven innings. John Pangelinan got the win, pitching four complete, four strikeouts, giving up just one earned run and five hits. Pangelinan was also 2-4, at the plate, and three RBI and earned Strike Zone Player of the Game honors.
