VIDEO: 1798 Garrido Document Reveals Old Chamoru Words no Longer in Use

Guam- A rare Chamoru document from 1798 has in it some ancient Chamoru words that have been forgotten all together. It's been dubbed the Garrido document after the man who wrote it. It's believed to be the first official government document written in Chamoru. Dr. Carlos Madrid and Jeremy Cepeda a research associate of the I Fanlalai'an oral history project with Leonard Iriarte will be presenting their findings tonight at the University of Guam field house

DPHSS: Child Care Development Fund - Applications for Assistance Now Being Accepted
