VIDEO: Father & Daughter Return From Afghan Deployment

Guam - There are many individual stories of sacrifice amongst the 600 soldiers who were recently deployed to Afghanistan out of Guam's National Guard, and one of those stories is of a father and a daughter. Army Guard Specialists Ivan Igitol and his daughter Specialist Brittney Igitol were both deployed to Afghanistan and both have now safely returned.

Guam - The purchase of Tiyan Core Tech property includes a piece of property that the airport actually owns. It turns out that the property that the Guahan Academy Charter school is sitting on actually belongs to the Guam International Airport Authority but the airport granted Coretech a 30 year lease for free and now Coretech is selling that lease to GovGuam.

First Hawaiian Bank Branches Raise Record $9,800 for Special Olympics

(Hagåtña, Guam, January 8, 2014) –First Hawaiian Bank’s three Guam branches located in Maite, Dededo and Tamuning, raised over $9800 during the bank’s annual “Be a Fan” Special Olympics fundraising campaign, according to an announcement today by Laura Dacanay, First Hawaiian Bank Senior Vice President and Guam/CNMI Region Manager.
