Senators Aguon, Respicio, Won Pat, Cruz, Say They Will Not Accept Their $20-Thousand Dollar Pay Raises

Guam - In the wake of the Governor's veto of the Legislature's Hay pay raise plan, and the Governor's announcement that his plan will take effect Friday,  two  Guam Senators issued statements saying that they would not be accepting the $20-thousand dollar raises they are eligible for in the Governor's plan.

VIDEO: Verga Says He Has Been Reassured That GMH Employees Will Get Their Hay Raises Tomorrow

Guam - After an oversight hearing on GMH yesterday in which GMH officials told lawmakers that the cost to implement the Hay pay plan would be too much, Governor’s Spokesman Phil Leon Guerrero issued a statement saying the figures they gave were actually inflated.
