Spring 2011 Green Buildings and Preparing for LEED Green Associate
(In partnership with LERN and UGotClass)
For those who want more than a basic understanding of sustainability and green building concepts, including those with a stake in their company’s building practices, those directly involved in green building projects, and those pursuing the LEED Green Associate professional accreditation.
LEED is a third-party certification program and nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. Participants who successfully complete this course are eligible and prepared to sit for the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate Exam.

Microsoft Web Developer
Learn how to develop Web pages using Microsoft's platform: NET Framework 3.5. Upon completion of the course, students will be fully prepared to take the Microsoft 70-536 and 70-562 exams in order to become fully proficient as a Microsoft Web Developer. Skills students will master in this program include installing and using Visual Studio 2008, using web developer express, and debugging code. They will also explore HTML concepts, elements and tags, attributes, hyperlinks and anchors, image management, XML, CSS, .NET programming, ASP.NET, JQuery, AJAX, ASP .NET Web Applications, and .NET Framework 3.5.

Intermediate Windows Vista
Master the skills needed to work with files, folders, programs, and shortcuts in Windows Vista. In addition, learn how to use different types of discs including Flash drives, CDs, DVDs, and external hard drives. Intermediate SQL
Expand your knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), the industry standard database programming language. Introduction to Programming
Participants in this course will master basic programming concepts as they create applications containing graphical user interfaces, sound, and graphics. Step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice will make them proficient in using Just BASIC, a free and simple computer programming language.
