Lawsuit Seeking to Overturn 2010 Gubernitorial Results Expected To Be Filed By End of Today

When contacted by PNC News, a staff member of the Gutierrez-Aguon campaign, who declined to be named, stated that "Our goal is to have it filed by the end of the day."
The basis of the lawsuit and its details are not yet known.
Gutierrez Campaign Chairman Yigo Mayor Bob Lizama told the media after the Saturday November 6th re-count that "This election will be decided by the courts"
Subsequently, 45 complaints alleging various irregularities have been filed with the Guam Election Commission. Most were filed by the Gutierrez-Aguon Campaign. In recent days, teams of staffers from both campaigns have been reviewing registration records at the GEC.
GEC Executive Director John Blas has previously told PNC News that the deadline for filing was Monday November 22.
