Arrest Made in Oceanview Vandalism Case

Guam - Guam Police have made an arrest in the vandalism at Agat's Oceanview Middle School.

18 year old Kameron Rashawn Topasna has been charged with 15 counts of  Burglary, Destruction of Government Property and Guilt Established by Complicity.

Topasna has been booked and confined.

Over this past weekend, 13 classrooms had been damaged. Fire extinguishers had been sprayed on the walls and desks, class projects were overturned and thrown on the floor. A $700 dollar water blaster was also stolen.As a result of the damage, some classes have had to be moved to the cafeteria, teacher prep areas and the school library.

And the previous weekend, the school was also broken into and laptops, CD players, telephones and 3M projectors were stolen along with a set of master keys to the school. Some of the laptops were the personal property of some teachers.

GPD Public Information Officer A.J. Balajadia reports that additional arrests maybe pending.  The case is still opened and remains under investigation.
