PNC News Projects Tony Ada Is the Winner Of the Special Election and He Will Be Guam's Next Senator

Guam - Guam News

Guam - Exit polling data taken throughout the day done by UOG  Professor  Dr. Ron McNinch and his students show Tony Ada cruising to an easy win.

Ada came out on top in each of  3 exit polls taken of voters after they left the polling booths at various spots across the island.

McNinch's numbers put Ada on top by a 2 to 1 margin in each of the polls and Ada is the projected winner with about 36% of the vote.

The exit polling data puts Sarah Thomas Nededog and Roque Aguon in a virtual tie for second place with 17% of the vote each.

William Sarmiento with 12%. Art De Oro follows with 10%. And Martin Benevente trailing with about 9% of the vote.

Based on these results, PNC News is projecting that Tony Ada has won the 2010 Special Election and will become Guam's next Senator,  filling the seat vacated by Matt Rector in January.
