Guam - Another union vote is being held at Guam Shipyard TODAY, May 8, a little over a year after workers there rejected a bid by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers to represent them.
281 Shipyard workers are eligible for the vote which is being conducted by the National Labor Relations Board [NLRB].
Last year 114 Shipyard workers voted no, 73 said yes to the IBEW. However this time, the union's Business Manager Brian Ahakuelo says the workers have a better idea of what the union can do for them.
The NLRA is handling the vote and the results are expected by Wednesday evening.
