Guam - Senator Mike Limtiaco has asked Speaker Judi Won Pat to provide him with any recommendations or reports generated by the Tax Review Commission, and to convene that Commission again to help with the preparation of the 2014 budget.
In a letter to the Speaker, the Senator cites Chapter 11 2 GCA which set January 2004 as the initial date for the appointment and convening of the Commission, with the next Commission constituted in January of 2007 and every four years thereafter.
“I would also like to request that you convene the next commission immediately" writes Limtiaco, "so that it may begin its work in concert with the work to be performed to craft a budget for Fiscal Year 2014.”
