Guam - Funeral arrangements have been announced for 25-year-old Navy Officer Jonathan Jake Tenorio who police say was murdered in California late last month.
Mass of intention for Jake will be held tonight at the Santa Teresita Church in Mangilao starting at 6 pm, followed by final rosary at 6:45 pm. Last respects will be held on Friday, February 8, at the Santa Teresita Church from 9 am to 12 noon. Jake’s burial with full military honors will be held at the Veteran’s Cemetery in Piti at 1 pm.
Tenorio’s father-in-law, former Sen. Frank Blas Jr., tells PNC News that the family is hoping to bring his body home by Thursday night.
Meanwhile, Tenorio’s brother, 21-year-old Zachary Castro Tenorio, is behind bars accused of stabbing his brother Jake to death. He is scheduled to appear in San Diego County Superior Court tomorrow afternoon for an arraignment where he will plead either guilty or not guilty.
