Guam - The Guam Power Authority has scheduled a 6 hour power outage today [Saturday] for part of Mangilao.

The outage began at 8:30 and is scheduled to last until 2:30 pm. 

The outrage will effect Pagat-Mangilao, Tuberose Street and customers in the immediate surrounding areas.

The otuage is necessary for the safety of work crews who will be replacing old wooden poles and doing automatic spices on power lines in that area.
