Guam - TakeCare Insurance has announced that its contract with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management [OPM] to offer health insurance coverage to federal employees on Guam has been renewed.READ the TakeCare release in FULL below:
The United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has renewed the Federal Employee Health Benefit (FEHB) Program with TakeCare Insurance Company for the upcoming 2013 benefit year.
“This marks a successful longstanding, thirty-plus year relationship between OPM and TakeCare Insurance,” said Jeff Larsen, TakeCare Chief Operations Officer. “We continue to provide quality health insurance services and offer optimal health care delivery options including exclusive access to the FHP Health Center for our valued FEHB members. We have established a track record of assuring federal employees covered under this program receive the greatest possible value for their premium contributions,” he said.
As a health insurance provider for the FEHB Program, TakeCare is held to higher regulatory standards than any other local insurer in Guam including being subject to regular audits from the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and the OPM.
