Guam - Senator Chris Duenas today [Friday] extended his thanks to Speaker Judi Won Pat for scheduling a public hearing for his "Bucks for Buses" Bill # 491.

Buenas yan Hafa Adai! I want to take this opportunity to thank you for responding to my request, and scheduling a public hearing today for Bill No. 491-31 (COR), an act to reduce senatorial salaries to $55,308, to re appropriate the savings to the Director of Public Works to purchase school buses and to enact the “Bucks for Busses Act of 2012, on August 20, 2012 at 5pm.
After receipt of your last letter, I recognize the issue in scheduling the hearing. Thank you for your leadership in addressing this matter. I look forward to working with you.
