New Portland Trailblazers Coach Has Guam Ties

Guam - Terry Stotts is the new head coach for the Portland Trailblazers.  If Stotts sounds familiar it's baucause he's been to Guam for basketball camps and also attended Dededo Middle School and John F. Kennedy High school.

According to an article on portlandtribune.com his father was a high school basketball coach and when Stotts was 11, the family moved to Guam, where his father coached basketball at the University of Guam.  Stotts played for the University Of Oklahoma Sooners and according to soonerswiki.com he attended Dededo Middle School and JFK High School. 

Stotts played for the Seattle Supersonics, Milwaulkee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks in the 90's.
