VIDEO: 7 Public Schools Commit to Serving Guam Grown Produce for Lunch

Guam - Seven of the island's public school cafeterias will soon be getting fresh local fruits and vegetables to serve to students.

Senator Aline Yamashita, who has been participating in the "Buy Local" effort, announced the agreement saying it will not only provide fresh produce for students, but it will also help support the local economy.

Senator Yanashita's Office says the list isn't finalized yet, but possible schools for this fresh produce agreement include D.L. Perez Elementary, Wettengal Elementary, Liguan Elementary, Okkodo High, Astumbo Elementary, Ordot Chalan Pago Elementary, Price Elementary & JQ San Miguel Elementary.
