Guam News - Guam News

Guam - Quick work by police and the photo of an alleged robbers car helped nab a man accused of robbing a Tamuning home and threatening a homeowner.

According to Police Lt. Ron Taitano, a homeowner entered his house about 2 pm Monday and was confronted by a man pointing a gun at him. The suspect then fled in a grey Chevy Aveo, but the victims managed to take a picture of it and that helped GPD officers locate the car at the Breeze Inn on Ypao Road.

Lt. Taitno says during a search of the Inn the suspect jumped from a balcony to get away but he was apprehended. A gun,  jewelry and purses were recovered.

The suspect has been identified as Bruce Charfauros and he has been booked and confined on charges of  robbery, burglary and possession and use of a deadly weapon.
