Change of Command FRIDAY at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam; Capt. Plummer to Relieve Capt Haws

Guam - Capt. Jeff Plummer will relieve Capt. Kevin Haws as commanding officer of U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) Guam during a change of command ceremony Aug. 3.
Dr. William Kiser, retired U.S. Navy rear admiral, will be the guest speaker. Kiser served as a staff physician at USNH Guam from 1982-1984. He returned to the hospital in 2000 and served as executive officer. He served as USNH Guam commanding officer from 2001-2003. Kiser recently retired in June after 38 years of service in the Navy.

Plummer is reporting to Guam after serving as executive officer of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.

Haws will retire from the Navy immediately following the change of command ceremony. He served in the Navy for 34 years both as an enlisted Sailor and a commissioned officer.
