Guam - Antonio Aquininoc retired from the military after 30 years of service. he's been all over the world and has seen successful governments and non-successful governments.

He says after returning to Guam in 2006 he hasn't seen much change and now wants to run for office in order to make that change happen. He points to the lack of progress on things like the bridges in Merizo and other road projects that have taken forever to complete.

His slogan is “Peoples' Needs Are His Daily Deeds.”

If elected he wants to push for residents of Guam to be able to vote for U.S. president and he promises to work hard. "I made it all the way from a private in the army all the way to the top as a sergeant major E9 and that's not just because of my good looks.

I did that because I worked hard and I earned it because I did my job and I believe leading people into combat leading people in the classrooms and now I'm ready to lead our people of Guam,” said Aquininoc. Aquininoc is running as a Republican candidate for senator.
