Guam - Joey Tyquiengco, originally from Guam and now living in San Francisco, California has been diagnosed with acute mylogenous leukemia (AML) and needs a bone marrow transplant to survive.
Joey is back on Guam and will be at GPO SUNDAY July 22 from 10 am until 4 pm in hopes of finding a bone marrow doner.

By registering you have an opportunity to help him and many other patients around the world search for a match. It takes less than 10 minutes to sign up and do a simple mouth cheek swab.
“For the first, we are allowing families to be directly involved and take hold of a bone marrow drive. We hope as they take hold of these types of drives they will be encouraged and bring hope to many that are suffering and waiting for their life saving match. We are confident that this pilot program will continue to spur others to join in the future.” Dr. Thomas Shieh.
