Guam - The Department of Public Works has issued an alert to the public that its contractor, Nippo Corporation, will pave the southbound shoulder of Route 4 just before the Ylig Bridge TODAY, Thursday, July 19. Paving will begin at 9 a.m. and last through the end of the day.   The southbound lane will remain open; however, motorists are advised that minor traffic interruptions may occur during the paving period.

On Friday, July 20, paving will proceed on the northbound shoulder of Route 4 and the entrance to Pago Bay Resort.  The northbound lane will remain open while the paving work occurs.

Motorists are asked to obey all traffic signs and  proceed with caution while traveling through the area.
