Guam -  The Department of Public Works has issued an alert to all motorists that the outer lane of Route 8 heading toward Maite from Marine Corps Drive will be temporarily closed from 9 am to 11 am TODAY, Wednesday, July 18.
Core Tech International completed concrete pouring today and will be working with the Guam Power Authority to erect new power poles as part of the Agana Bridges reconstruction project. The erection of the power poles will require the use of a crane in the outer north bound lane of Route 8. Flagmen will be on hand to direct traffic while the work occurs.

The DPW apologizes for any inconvenience this slight delay may cause. However, the safety and well-being of our motorists is paramount. The DPW further urges all drivers in the area to proceed with caution and to obey all traffic signs and flagmen.
