Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority reports that they are having "some production challenges" with  the Ugum Water Treatment Plant.

As a result, GWA Communications Director Heidi Ballendorf is asking residents from Talofofo to Umatac to conserve water through the weekend.

IN a release, Ballendorf states:  “Right now our Ugum Water Treatment Plant that serves those villages is having some production challenges so we are asking residents to only use water for essential needs. This is the first time in several years that the plant has experienced water production issues.”
