Guam- The Guam Election Commission Friday confirmed that 4 candidates who submitted petitions to run for election Tuesday have now either dropped out or been disqualified.

* Republican Senatorial Candidate Paul Reyes did not make the qualifications for certification.

* Democrat Phillipe Cruz and Republican John Lujan submitted written documentation for their names to be removed from the senatorial race.

* And Zeny Nace also wrote to GEC to withdraw her name from the Public Auditor race, leaving Doris Flores Brooks unopposed.

In the meantime, GEC continues to prepare for what's ahead leading up to the General Election.

GEC will begin certifying the final list of candidates on Saturday at 1:30 p.m..
