Guam News - Guam News

Guam - In our continuing series on the 2012 Challengers for a Senate seat in the Guam Legislature this year, there is a familiar face Frank Aguon Jr.

Recently returned from his second deployment in Afghanistan, Aguon will make another run for the Guam Legislature where he has already served 6 terms.

The Democrat says that he wants to help shape the benefits of the buildup to improve the lives of all island residents.

Aguon left the Guam Legislature to run as the Lieutenant Gubernatorial Candidate with former Governor Carl Gutierrez in their losing bid for Adelup in 2010.

Gutierrez has recently criticized Aguon for withdrawing from the lawsuit over the results of that election. But Aguon declined to respond to the former Governor's criticism saying that race is behind him now, and it is time to move on.
