Saipan, MP — Congressman Gregorio Kilili Camacho Sablan issued the following statement on news of the passing of former CNMI Chief Justice Miguel S. Demapan:“Chief Justice Miguel S. Demapan served the Northern Mariana Islands with honor throughout a distinguished career as an attorney and jurist. His loss at such an early age is a loss to us all.
“I join with the people of the Commonwealth in expressing my sincerest sympathy to the family of Chief Justice Demapan in their time of grief.
“We will keep him in our prayers.”
