Guam - The Department of  Defense has awarded dck Pacific Guam a $30,047,253 contract for the construction of an Air Freight Terminal Complex at Andersen Air Force Base.

According to the announcement on defense.gov, the work to be performed is a "design-bid-build" project which also calls for the construction of an addition and alteration to Building 19020 and the demolition of  Building 19028 at Andersen.

The contract is a firm-fixed-price task order (JQ0)  under a previously awarded multiple award construction contract (N62742-10-D-1308).

The job is slated to be completed May 2014. 

NAVFAC Marianas awarded the contract to dck which was among 6 proposals they received for this task order.
