GBB Looking for Someone Interested in Operating a Materials Recovery Facility to Sort and Sell Recyclables

Guam -The federal receiver  running DPW Solid Waste Division, GBB, has issued a notice requesting information from companies that might be interested in building and operating a "Materials Recovery Facility"  to sort and sell the recyclables that Solid Waste has been collecting from its curbside recycling program.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
Gershman, Brickner & Bratton, Inc. in its capacity as Receiver for Guam Solid Waste Authority (“GBB”) is seeking information to Provide a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) at an existing or new, privately owned/operated facility to receive, separate, and sell for beneficial reuse the post consumer material collected in GSWA’s curbside recycling program and recyclables collected from its residential transfer stations located around the island.

The facility would receive this material six (6) days a week. The Contractor will take full responsibility for providing a properly located and permitted facility. The Facility shall be located within 5 miles of the GSWA’s compound located at the 542 N. Marine Corps Drive, Tamuning, Guam 96913.
