Bicycle Events at Micronesia Mall on Saturday

Guam News - Community Events

Guam - On Saturday, May 12 at 10AM, the annual Build-A-Bike Competition will take place at Center Court of the Micronesia Mall.  Funds raised by this corporate bike-assembly contest will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam.
Build-A-Bike is a corporate activity designed to build teamwork and enhance employee morale, as well as provide an opportunity to give back to the community.  Teams race to assemble bikes while facing several obstacle challenges.  Assembled bicycles will then be inspected by members of the Guam Cycling Federation, a partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam in this event.  At the end of the event, the bicycles are presented to the “Littles” or youth participants in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam mentoring program.

Corporate team sponsors include Community First Federal Credit Union, TakeCare Insurance, Nissan Guam, AK Toyota, Prestige Automobiles, Triple J Motors, Bank of Hawaii, Coast360 Federal Credit Union, Personal Finance Center and Pacific Islands Club (PIC).
