Guam Guard Cleaning Up Along Army Drive FRIDAY Morning 6am-8am

Guam -The Guam National Guard will be conducting a roadside clean up of Army Drive (Route 16) Friday, Feb. 17, from 6 a.m. through 8 a.m.

Guam Guard Soldiers will be picking up trash and debris along either side of Army Drive from the intersection of Route 8, Route 10, and Route 16 in Barrigada to the Micronesia Mall.

The clean-up is a quarterly event for the Guam National Guard and conducted as part of its community service and beautification effort.  More than 100 Soldiers are expected to be working along the designated clean-up route.

Motorists are requested to slow down and exercise extreme caution as they drive through this portion of Army Drive, from the intersection of Routes 8, 10 and Army Drive onto the intersection at Route 1, especially when Guard personnel are seen working along the roadside.

Guam Guard Soldiers could be identified by their grey t-shirt with a large black letter “A” and black shorts.
