Guam - Acting Governor Ray Tenorio honored Guam's veterans by signing a proclamation today.

 The proclamation declares November 11th through December 8th in honor of the bravery courage and sacrifices of guamanian veterans. the acting governor said that the u.s. and guam celebrates veterans day every year in honor of men and women who risk their lives to protect the nations freedom. "A lot of times we take it for granted that they put their lives on the line that they defend our way of life and our democracy i don't because you don't know what freedom is until you don't have it,” said Tenorio.

 The acting governor said that the number of Guamanians who serve in the armed forces is indicative of Guam’s love and loyalty for the nation. Veterans day is this Friday November 11th.
