Movie in the Park: "Traditional Fishing on Guam"; FRIDAY 6pm

Guam - War in the Pacific National Historical Park invites the public for a special “Movie in the Park” program on Veteran’s Day, this Friday at 6 pm. The park will host the film “Traditional Fishing on Guam: Chamoru Chenchulu Fishermen,” which vividly describes traditional fishing methods
and fascinating stories from some of Guam’s experienced fishermen.

“Traditional Fishing on Guam” features Ray Topasna, John Ray Aguon, Bobby Alvarez, and Leonard Iriarte and was produced by Judy Amesbury.  The film project was funded by the Guam Humanities Council, Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration, Guam Fishermen’s Cooperative Association, and Micronesian Archaeological Research Services.  The film’s producer and some of the
film’s participants will help introduce the program.

Join us under the stars at Asan Beach, Friday, November 11 at 6:00 p.m.
