Zen Ultra Lounge Opens FRIDAY on Roof of Royal Orchid Hotel

Guam News - Community Events

Guam - After fifteen years of running Hollywood’s entertainment and nightlife industry, Guam’s own JASON “JD” IRIARTE comes home to elevate island nightlife to the next level. His first project, ZEN ULTRA LOUNGE, grand opens Friday and brings a wave of class to hotel row.
The luxurious lounge sits atop the Royal Orchid hotel, and entices the senses with its breathtaking view of Tumon Bay. Floor to ceiling glass panels retract, allowing the cool ocean breeze to envelop guests as they gaze at island landmark Two Lovers Point. Soothing sounds of Ethero mixed with funky electronic beats of LMFAO float from strategically placed speakers, amplifying the unique and unforgettable experience.

“But the music will never be so loud it will drown your thoughts and conversations. This is a place for new and established business people, the young upwardly mobile crowd and mature adults to relax and discover their own Zen,” Iriarte says.

As guests enjoy the Zen garden, waterfall and koi pond while sipping a Zen specialty cocktail, it’s near impossible not to reach the balanced and collected state of mind that is Zen.

“This is not your average bar, nor is it simply a lounge. It’s a multi-faceted entertainment venue. We are open for private parties and events. I also imagine business people taking a break from their offices and getting their work done at Zen,” Iriarte says.

With free wireless Internet, a 10-foot acacia conference table, 60-inch LED TV and plush custom couches, executives can create their dream office or simply enjoy killer happy hour specials.

For those with particular palates and an appetite for grandeur, twenty liquor lock boxes are available for purchase to be filled with their favorite wines and spirits.

A special ribbon-cutting ceremony by Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio will commence at 5:30 p.m. Friday Sept. 16 followed by a VIP and Media cocktail party from 6 to 8 p.m.

"Eddie and I are excited for the owners and workers of Zen,” Tenorio says. “Another business opening means another option for customers, more people working and a larger economic base to bring Guam to the next level of service and development. Every Guamanian's dream, every person's new venture, every citizen's risk into the market is another step for Guam to reach new heights.”

Following the ceremony, ZEN ULTRA LOUNGE will open to the general public until 2 a.m. Regular business hours are Monday through Saturday 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., with happy hour specials from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Please RSVP with the media contact below.
