Guam - The Army National Guard’s senior Chaplain is scheduled to visit the Guam National Guard this weekend.
Chaplain (Brigadier General) Patrick J. Dolan, the Army National Guard Assistant to the Chief of Army Chaplains, will spend time with Guam Guard Soldiers and Airmen this coming weekend.

He will also be officiating in a mass at the Guard’s Joint Readiness Center in Barrigada.

Chaplain Dolan assists the Chief of Army Chaplains with strategic issues and responsibilities, but with particular emphasis on how any developments might impact the National Guard members in their States, Territories and the District of Columbia.

After completing a doctorate in chemistry at Indiana University, Chaplain Dolan spent four years in Divinity School in Rome, where his work with a number of American military families connected him to the chaplaincy.

He then joined the Kentucky National Guard in 1992 and served with 1-623rd Field Artillery, 138th Fires Brigade and Joint Force Headquarters. Having been deployed to the Middle East four times, he cared for units and all military personnel in various parts of Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He currently pastors two parishes in Casey County as part of his duties with the Archdiocese of Louisville.
