Chamber Elects 2010 Board of Directors

Guam -The Guam Chamber of Commerce elected eight (8) Board Directors for the 2010 Chamber year during its Annual Membership meeting today.  The six (6) voting directors elected to serve a three-year term are:

1. LAURA-LYNN DACANAY, SVP/Region Manager, First Hawaiian Bank
2. CHARLENE GOO, Vice President-Operations, Pacific Region, Outrigger Guam Resort, OHANA Bayview   Guam, OHANA Oceanview Guam
3. MONTE MESA, General Manager, Guam Premier Outlets
4. LUCY ALCORN, President & CEO, GFS Group
5. JAY ROJAS, Executive Vice President, SEI Guam
6. ROBERT STOLL, Associate Resident Director, VP, Merrill Lynch


The two (2) Alternate Directors elected to serve a one-year term are: MARK SABLAN, VP/ Business Development, South Pacific Petroleum Corp. and LOU LEON GUERRERO, President, CEO, Chair of the Board, Bank of Guam.  Laura-Lynn Dacanay was the highest vote getter and will automatically serve on the Chamber's Executive Committee in 2010.

The eight (8) Directors elected today will join twelve (12) holdovers and comprise the 2010 Chamber Board.  The holdovers are:

6.    DONNA KLOPPENBURG, Owner & CEO, Kloppenburg Enterprises, Inc.
7.    GEORGE LAI, President, Quality Distributors
8.     KALEO S. MOYLAN, Director, Moylan’s Insurance
9.    ANNMARIE MUNA, President, AM Insurance
10.  GERALD S.A. PEREZ, Vice President, MicroMed Suppliers
11.  STEPHEN C. RUDER, President, Ruder Integrated Marketing Strategies
12.  SINFOROSO "ROSSI" TOLENTINO, Administering Partner, Carlsmith Ball LLC
