Guam - The Guam Legislature recognized the 2011 San Diego Sons & Daughters of Guam Club Liberation Day Queen Mariana Patrice Pangelinan Dimla this morning [Tuesday] with a resolution in her honor

Dimla has been on island for the 67th Annual Liberation festivities and participated in last Thursday's Liberation Parade.

The resolution to was presented in Office of Vice Speaker Benjamin J.F. Cruz.

It commends Dimla for winning the title of 2011 San Diego Sons & Daughters of Guam Club Liberation Queen and for raising funds to benefit the Micronesian Youth Services Network (MYSN).

MYSN is an organization of individuals and organizations that advocate for positive youth development, improved standards of services, and sound youth services policy on Guam and the rest of Micronesia.

Dimla is a student at the University of San Diego. She is the daughter of Patrick and Debbie Dimla.
