Guam- Despite the hit the island's tourism industry is taking now from the drop in arrivals in the wake of the Japanese disasters, at an Economic Symposium Friday, island economists said Guam's economy is positioned for strong growth in 2012.

Experts say another good sign the economy is growing is the amount of new cars on the road and vehicles used for construction projects. The seminar took place at the Outrigger Hotel.
