VIDEO: Frank Cable Crew Spruces Up Piti Retaining Wall With Mural They Designed and Painted

Guam - Members of the crew of the U.S.S. Frank Cable dressed up a retaining wall in Piti with a mural they designed, and painted.

Their work can be seen on the east side of  Marine Corp Drive just before the entrance to Naval Station.

It was unveiled Tuesday afternoon . It features the Frank Cable approaching a submarine at the mouth of Apra Harbor. Ensign Luigi Cuzi  says it took them 4 days, and about 20 hours to paint the mural.

The work was organized through the island beautification task force,  under Lt. Governor Ray Tenorio.

The Lt. Governor and Piti Mayor Ben Gumataotao joined officers and crew members from the Frank Cable for the unveiling ceremony.
