Taiwan will represent the region at the Little League World Series next month in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Korea needed just four innings to blank Thailand 10-0 earlier this morning in a continuation of yesterday's Playoff game. The ten run rule victory placed them in the title game which was plagued with two rain delays.

An error and bases loaded walk proved costly for Korea as Taiwan capitalized and scored all its runs in the bottom of the third getting strong pitching from starter Yang Chin Hao who went the distance striking out seven for the complete game win. Korea's Jun Ahn took the loss. Taiwan went undefeated in the tournament.

A consolation game between Guam and Thailand was scheduled but cancelled because of rain and organizers have decided to declare the tournament over, the consolation game will not be played.
